I'd love a jet pack, but since the current temperature is 9, with a high of 16 with a windchill advisory (around -10 all day) forecast, I'd kind of rather have one of those Caterpiller-type things that they use in Aliens and at the Antarctic today.
Freezing rain would make them a bad idea this midwestern winter that doesn't seem like it will ever end.
Now, teleportation is something I could get behind fully.

It is quite lovely, but I really think you should have put yourself in a personal jet pack instead, just my 2 cents.
I wish I knew of a personal jet pack dealer!! I just might have gone for that. Don't know where I'd put the two fellows I carpool with though.
I hope I live long enough for jet packs to be common.
But then there would be mangled bodies dropping from the sky when idiot jet pack drivers crashed.
I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but jet packs are just not safe.
